Club racing is a year round thing at FYC! Series 1 runs Feb-April, Series 2 will fill the summer, May-August and Series 3 will run Sept-November. Be sure to get on the Sunday Series email list by clicking on the link below and dropping me an email. Potential crew and skippers or anyone interested in getting involved should be on the list! Not only do we send out weekly racing recaps, but we will also make sure you are aware of any schedule updates or special events.
We typically meet under the club around 12 or 12:30 on Sunday and Skippers will look for extra crew and get signed in for the race. Don’t let iffy wind or weather scare you away. You never know what its like a mile away! Many a beautiful Sunday was spent out on the Bay while it rained on those on-shore!
Also remember, you can always race any Sunday just by coming out and using your “nominal start times”. Just have one of the racers call a five mile course and have FUN.
Don’t forget that we try to maintain a Crew List in the racing notebook, if you need crew or want to crew. Be sure to ask to have your info added or write it in next Sunday!
