Sailing Race Results

At Fairhope Yacht Club, club racing is a year-round activity, providing thrilling competition and camaraderie for sailors of all skill levels. Our racing calendar is divided into three series:

  • Series 1: February – April
  • Series 2: May – August
  • Series 3: September – November

Each series offers a variety of races designed to challenge participants and foster a spirit of friendly competition. We encourage everyone—potential crew members, skippers, and those simply interested in sailing—to get involved.

Race Day Routine

Races typically take place on Sundays, and we gather under the clubhouse around 12:00 or 12:30 PM. Skippers will look for extra crew and sign in for the race.

Don’t let unpredictable weather keep you ashore! Conditions can change rapidly, and many beautiful Sundays have been spent on the Bay while it rained onshore. Always be prepared for a great day on the water.

Nominal Start Times

Remember, you can race any Sunday by joining us and using your nominal start times. One of the racers will call a five-mile course for some informal, fun racing. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy sailing without the pressure of formal competition.

Race Results

This page will be regularly updated with race results from each series. Check back often to see how you and your fellow sailors have performed. Also, if you results you’d like posted e-mail joe@donelan1.com.
