US Sailing Golden Anchor Program

The Golden Anchor Program provides an opportunity for current US Sailing Organizations to offer their members discounted individual and family memberships, while also saving money for the organization.

Membership Cost:  Youth $20/year (standard rate: $25); Individual $50/year  (standard: $60); Family $75/year (standard $90.00)

Members who renew through the Golden Anchor at FYC will receive the same benefits of standard US Sailing membership, including a copy of the Racing Rules of Sailing, Accident Insurance, discounts on apparel, publications and regatta entry fees, as well as member-only promotions from US Sailing partners.

Additionally, for each person that joins or renews their membership with US Sailing, FYC will earn credits that can be used to purchase US Sailing publications and other educational materials, including the Racing Rules, Handy Guide to the Racing Rules, other books and educational DVDs, etc. For every new member that joins, FYC will earn 10 credits; for each member that renews, FYC will earn 2.5 credits. The accumulated credits (1 credit = $1) may be redeemed for products from the US Sailing Store within the current year of the program.

Membership forms must be turned into US Sailing annually, and all at one time. So even though your membership may not expire until later in the year, by renewing now your membership would be valid through FYC’s renewal date which will be, most likely, around March 1.

Golden Anchor join/renewal form is available here (in .pdf format) and in Pat’s office.  We would like to have everyone’s form and payment back by February 22. We need time to enter the information in the database provided to us by US Sailing prior to sending in payment and membership data.
